Privacy policy
Last updated 1 November 2026. This page describes what happens to data when you read ccie13192.com.
The short version
This is a static website. There is no account, no contact form, no newsletter and no analytics or tracking script run by me. The one third party that does collect data is Google, through the advertising code on every page.
What this site itself stores
Nothing. Pages are plain HTML, CSS, fonts and images served from Cloudflare. The site does not set its own cookies, does not write to your local storage, and does not fingerprint your browser. There is no first-party analytics product installed.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the request metadata needed to deliver a page — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — and may keep security and performance logs, including a bot-management cookie where it needs one to protect the site. That processing is described in Cloudflare's own privacy policy. I do not build profiles from those logs.
Cloudflare may also serve its own cookieless web-analytics beacon from this zone. If it is active, it records aggregated page views — no cookies, no cross-site identifiers, and no ability for me to identify a visitor. It can be switched off at the host level and is not used for advertising.
Advertising: Google AdSense
Every page loads the Google AdSense script (publisher ca-pub-1747700617931627). Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage and device identifiers to serve ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure ad performance, and — where you have consented and where the law allows it — to personalise ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google shows a consent message before non-essential advertising cookies are used, and you can change or withdraw that choice through the same message or your browser settings.
- Industry opt-out pages: aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
If you block advertising cookies, the pages still work. Advertising is the only reason any third-party script runs here.
Links to other sites
Articles link to standards documents, vendor documentation and other sites. Once you follow an external link, that site's own privacy policy applies; I have no control over what it collects.
Children
This site is written for working network engineers and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights and how to use them
Because this site holds no personal data of its own, requests to access, correct or delete data held by me are usually answerable with "there is none". Where personal data does exist — for example in an email you sent me — you can ask me to delete it and I will. Requests go to alex.xu@ccie13192.com; I answer within 30 days. For data held by Google as an advertising processor, use the Google controls linked above.
Changes
If what the site actually does changes — a new third-party script, a form, an analytics tool — this page is updated in the same change, and the date at the top changes with it. The policy is meant to describe the site as it is, not as it was planned.
